About E&S (Education & Skilling) Advisory:

The Indian education and skill development sector has seen an accelerated growth and a rapid shift towards digital-learning models recently, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. This shift has brought about an increased requirement of digital assets, infrastructure, upskilling of teachers, and content. With the requirement of tech-enabled learning solutions to only accelerate further, the Government is laying down new frameworks, and adopting an even more holistic and futuristic approach towards education and skill development.

Job Summary:

KPMG Advisory Services Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our Education and Skill Development practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education policy implementation, particularly within a Project Management Unit (PMU) setup, and experience working with a Big4 or top consulting firm. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a passion for driving impactful change in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage education policy implementation projects within a PMU setup.
  2. Develop and execute strategies to enhance education and skill development initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with government agencies, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to drive project success.
  4. Provide expert advice and insights on education policy and program development.
  5. Oversee project teams, ensuring timely and effective delivery of project objectives.
  6. Conduct research and analysis to support policy recommendations and project planning.
  7. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  9. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree from a tier 1 or tier 2 institution.
  2. Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in education policy implementation and project management, GTM strategies, market research.
  3. Proven experience working and leading in a PMU setup.
  4. Prior experience with a Big4 or consulting firm is preferred.
  5. Strong understanding of education policy frameworks and implementation strategies.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  9. Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience in managing large-scale education projects.
  2. Knowledge of the latest trends and developments in the education sector.
  3. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
