Mendix Administrator Role

As a Mendix administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Mendix platform and its applications within an organization. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the technical aspects of the platform with business needs, fostering effective collaboration among stakeholders.

  • Responsibilities:
    • User and Access Management:
      • Inviting new users, managing user roles and permissions, setting up App Access Groups, ensuring appropriate access to applications and data.
    • Application Deployment and Monitoring:
      • Deploying new applications, monitoring their performance, and managing the application lifecycle.
    • Platform Configuration and Maintenance:
      • Configuring settings within the Mendix platform, managing Marketplace content, ensuring the platform is running smoothly.
    • Troubleshooting and Support:
      • Addressing issues related to the platform and applications, working with users and technical teams to resolve problems.
    • Security Management:
      • Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the platform and its data, including user authentication and authorization.
    • Collaboration and Communication:
      • Working with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and end-users, to understand requirements and ensure the platform supports business needs effectively.
    • Staying Updated:
      • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on the latest platform features, security updates, and best practices.
