Overview:
As an Azure Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems on Azure. You will collaborate with data architects to develop data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes that meet the business needs of INES EIT Services India P. Ltd [Formerly Hewlett Packard Global Soft India P].
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Stream Analytics.
- Develop and maintain data warehouses and data lakes on Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Collaborate with data architects to design and implement data governance, security, and compliance policies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven applications on Azure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or master's degree in computer science.
- 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Advanced SQL knowledge, capable to write optimized queries for faster data workflows.
- Proven work experience in Spark, Python, SQL, Any RDBMS.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data warehouse platforms like Azure Data Lake, ADF, Azure Databricks, Delta Lakes, Fabric, Power BI.
- Understanding of CI/CD framework is an added advantage.
- Experience with Git / Azure DevOps.
