Financial Transaction Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced auditor to join our team.
The primary focus will be on monitoring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions, identifying potential risks, and recommending appropriate control measures.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, with a focus on concurrent auditing, and excellent communication skills.
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting real-time audits, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting concurrent audit of home loan products, loan disbursements, and other operational activities
- Identifying and reporting any deviations, irregularities, or non-compliance with established procedures or regulatory requirements
- Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and making recommendations for improvements
- Reviewing loan portfolios, including loan applications, loan agreements, collateral valuation, and documentation
- Preparing comprehensive audit reports and presenting them to management and relevant stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, finance, or a related field (LLB/ CA- Inter/MBA preferred)
- Proven experience as an auditor, preferably in the housing finance company, with a focus on concurrent auditing
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and auditing standards
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements applicable to housing finance companies in India
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using audit software, data analysis tools, and MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent audits while adhering to strict deadlines
