NetFX Mumbai - VFX Production Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Effects Project Manager to lead our VFX production team at NetFX in Mumbai. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented group of artists and productions from around the world, optimizing work output on a global scale.

As a Visual Effects Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing workflow to optimize production schedules, overseeing day-to-day operations for multiple shows to ensure deadlines are met, and managing production expectations and intervening with VFX partners whenever necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workflow Optimization: Develop and implement efficient production workflows to meet tight deadlines and high-quality standards.
  • Show Operations Management: Oversee daily operations for multiple shows, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Production Expectation Management: Manage producer expectations and intervene with VFX partners as needed to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Global Project Overview: Maintain a high-level overview of ongoing projects and their progress.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with VFX partners for technical and creative issues that arise, ensuring work stays on schedule.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead the team in the absence of a Producer, manage workload, leaves, and work schedules, and collate performance data for reviews.
  • Client Meetings and Escalations: Participate in client meetings as needed and escalate any delays or overages to show producers.
  • Pre-Mortem, Mid-Project Reviews, and Post-Mortem Analysis: Conduct pre-mortem, mid-project reviews, and post-mortem analysis for shows as relevant.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • VFX Production Experience: Proven experience working in VFX production, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Team Management: Experience in managing a team of Line Producers and Coordinators.
  • Leadership and People Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management and client communication skills.
  • Vendor Management: Experience in managing client relationships and expectations, and vendor management experience is a plus.

Salary Range: ₹2,500,000 - ₹4,500,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience). Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
