This role offers the opportunity to work with our Financial Services Group in Pune, where you will be responsible for participating in monthly forecasting processes, developing short and long-term P&L and balance sheet forecasts, and performing variance analysis. You will also be responsible for collaborating with the Business Unit Project Controller during month-end close, explaining and documenting P&L and balance sheet variances.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in monthly forecasting processes.
  • Develop short and long-term P&L and balance sheet forecasts.
  • Perform variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Business Unit Project Controller during month-end close.
  • Explain and document P&L and balance sheet variances.
  • Prepare records required to ensure correct revenue recognition and project accounting.
  • Responsible for post-month-end reports for local management.
  • Maintain project financial reports, including noetix master data file, inception-to-date invoice reports, and project status inquiry reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory requirements.
  • Identify efficiency and improvements in execution to provide better financial information and reporting to operational managers.
  • Provide support for internal and external audit requests.

Requirements:

  • Finance professional with a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in the FP&A domain.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP, MS Office, and reporting tools.
  • Self-starter, suggesting and implementing improvements to processes.
  • Ability to think creatively, driven, and self-motivated.
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up your sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
  • High standards of accuracy and highly organized.
