About the Role:

As a key member of the FIS development team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and management of application development and client delivery activities for an assigned application portfolio. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing work efforts of managers/supervisors, including hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.

Our market-leading solutions include Enterprise Risk Suite, Insurance Accounting Suite, Bank Account Manager, Payment Hub, Treasury & Risk Manager - Quantum edition, and Treasury & Risk Manager - Integrity.

What You Will Be Doing:

* Design and develop software product applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software applications for internal use
* Manage full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation, and auditing
* Perform product design, bug verification, and beta support which may require research and analysis
* Resolve critical issues and contributes to the business unit/area development
* Manage work efforts of managers/supervisors with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews
* Identify and allocate technical resources, including programmers, business analysts to client projects within Development
* Forecast resource needs based on an analysis of both portfolio and projected client spend
* Maximize both utilization and profitability of assigned team of resources' billable time
* Ensure base applications meet appropriate quality standards
* Adhere to the departmental application development and client delivery process standards
* Provide input on product direction to product managers
* Coordinate with industry compliance consultants and product managers to verify applications meet regulatory compliance
* Ensure proper application of technology
* Other related duties assigned as needed

What You Will Need:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
* 9+ years of experience in software development and 7+ years management or supervisory experience
* Technical Skills
* Knowledge of FIS products and services
* Skill in project management, organization, communications, analytical, and people skills
* Skill in leading, supervising, and managing effectively under pressure
* Ability to be comfortable interacting with executive-level clients
* Ability to analyze client's business needs and determine related information services support
* Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients
* Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and problem areas
* Ability to delegate projects to qualified subordinates as appropriate
