About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Cypress Tester to join our team at Winjit. As a Cypress Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our web applications by developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases using Cypress. Your expertise in manual testing will help identify and document bugs, issues, and defects. You will collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design test scenarios. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in executing automated and manual test scripts and analyzing results. You will report and track defects, ensuring timely resolution. Your ability to maintain and enhance automated test suites will ensure comprehensive test coverage. You will perform regression testing, ensuring that new releases are free of issues. Your passion for continuously improving testing processes and methodologies will be valuable to our team.

Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in software testing, with a strong focus on Cypress and manual testing.
- Proficient in Cypress for automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in testing web applications in agile development environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent.
