About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO professional to join our team at Nielsen. As a key member of our SAP support team, you will be responsible for administering SAP FICO applications and modules, with a focus on S4 HANA and ECC environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide SAP consulting experience, including customer-facing implementations, roll-outs, and expert advisory assignments in the S/4HANA and ECC environment.
  • Work closely with business teams on problem definition, solution architecting, and rollout, with a focus on reengineering business processes.
  • Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials, focusing on FICO, but not limited to:
  • Finance - General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Banking, Special Purpose Ledger, Asset, Month-end Close, Data Migration.
  • Controlling - Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Project System.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
  • Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
  • Map business requirements, processes, and objectives, and develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
  • Design, customize, configure, and test FI/CO modules.
  • Identify gaps and issues and work around solutions.
  • Act as liaison with clients for troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and solving software problems.
  • Document functional designs, test cases, and results.
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Act as liaison between business functions and technical teams.
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
  • Work self-directed and independently, and may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
  • Knowledge of SAP Treasury, SLAN, Concur, and FSCM would be an added advantage.
About You
  • You should have a minimum of 8-10 years of SAP experience supporting and implementing FICO modules.
  • Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules, such as MM, HR, and SD.
  • Effective communication in both oral and written English.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
  • Understanding of accounting business processes and ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
  • Must be results-oriented and demonstrate a can-do attitude, with adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
  • SAP FICO certification is highly desirable.
