A sales executive for a Japanese food import company plays a pivotal role in driving sales, establishing relationships with clients, and expanding the company's market presence. Your responsibilities will revolve around building and maintaining relationships with clients, promoting authentic Japanese food products, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy Development: Identify potential clients and establish strong relationships with restaurants, supermarkets, wholesalers, and distributors interested in Japanese food products.
- Customer Engagement: Understand clients' needs and preferences, and offer tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Sales Target Achievement: Achieve sales targets by actively prospecting new clients and expanding the company's customer base.
- Product Knowledge Dissemination: Present the company's range of Japanese food products, highlighting their quality, authenticity, and unique features.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the food industry or Japanese food products sector.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships and effectively conveying product information.
- Negotiation Skills: Business acumen and negotiation skills to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Cultural sensitivity and understanding of Japanese cuisine and food culture.
The ideal candidate will have a results-driven mindset, be proficient in sales software and CRM systems, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. The salary for this position is estimated to be ₹30k - ₹35k (inclusive of 10% to 20% hike or negotiable), based on industry standards and location.
