The RoleWe are seeking a Director of Product Management for our Search and Recommendations Platform and Operations team. As a dynamic leader, you will be responsible for setting the strategic vision for this platform, aligning with our business goals and customer needs.
You will drive product success, managing budget and financials, setting short- and long-term goals, and driving quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). You will lead and mentor a strong team of product owners, fostering a culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across product teams.
You will collaborate across various pyramids to negotiate and remove execution-related barriers, ensuring seamless product delivery. You will leverage data and analytics to perform competitive analysis, drive decision-making, and assess the health and effectiveness of your products.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This is a senior leadership position within our organization, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
About YouWe are looking for someone with 10+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain expertise, preferably in search and recommendations platforms or related areas. You should have a strong understanding of technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence at both strategic leadership levels and cross-functionally.
An understanding of retail or similar industries, with relevant experience in driving innovative and scalable solutions, is also desirable. Practical experience in developing and leading products within AI, LLM, vector search, NLP, and recommendation systems, with a strong emphasis on optimizing user experience through personalized recommendations, is highly valued.
