**Job Summary:**

As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Masco Home Products India, you will be responsible for supporting Enterprise Business Unit teams in India with supplier prospecting, sourcing, and project management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Engage with new and existing vendors to identify potential sourcing opportunities
* Conduct initial assessments and make recommendations for potential sourcing opportunities
* Collaborate with the Quality team to arrange and execute vendor assessments, audit evaluations, and implement root cause countermeasures
* Support initial negotiations and take a lead role in project managing initiatives with Suppliers
* Oversee new vendor onboarding, ensuring accurate assessments, audits, documentation, and contracts are established
* Lead, monitor, manage, and report project progress, ensuring vendor deliverables are received on-time and in line with project objectives
* Conduct negotiations and provide comprehensive cost and quotation analysis when required
* Manage vendor management activities post product launch, identifying potential supply chain disruptions and ensuring timely execution of vendor corrective actions
* Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to make informed sourcing decisions

**Requirements:**

* Minimum 5 years' experience working in Sourcing or Supplier Management
* Prior manufacturing experience (e.g., final assembly, casting, forging, stamping, machining, plastic injection molding, elastomers, finishing) is desired
* Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to use a computer for 8.5 hours per day
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and timelines with competing deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
