Visual Storyteller Opportunity

We are seeking a creative and meticulous professional to join our team.

This role requires excellent visual storytelling instincts, strong research skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Select and implement relevant media assets that enhance our content while maintaining alignment with the narrative.
  • Prioritize videos over images, with preference for 16:9 aspect ratio content.
  • Ensure all selected media is current by filtering for recent assets.
  • Search effectively using media partners' libraries and internal search fields.
  • Properly document and attribute media sources to maintain licensing compliance.

Content Quality Management:

  • Verify that all media used is contextually relevant to the content.
  • Ensure precise matching when featuring specific people, events, or teams.
  • Maintain contextual accuracy between narrative and visual elements.
  • Develop creative solutions when exact media matches aren't available.
  • Avoid misleading visual contexts that contradict the narrative message.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in video production, digital content creation, or media curation.
  • Strong understanding of narrative alignment and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent research skills for finding specific, relevant media assets.
  • Proficiency with stock media platforms and free usage catalogues.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality.
  • Understanding of different video formats and aspect ratios.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or related field.
  • Experience in video production, digital content creation, or media curation.
  • Strong understanding of narrative alignment and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent research skills for finding specific, relevant media assets.
  • Proficiency with stock media platforms and free usage catalogues.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality.
