Key Responsibilities

  • Support an equity research analyst in tracking the Consumer sector
  • Build end-to-end financial models for initiating coverage and updating models for earnings and events
  • Contribute to initiation notes, earnings notes, and other research reports
  • Search and aggregate data related to the sector and companies
  • Provide data and analysis based on client requests
  • Build and update sector databases
  • Prepare and update marketing presentations
  • Work on wall-crosses assignments
  • Utilize data sources such as Factset and Bloomberg

Requirements

  • Keen understanding of financial analysis and accounting concepts
  • Excellent MS-Excel skills
  • Ability to write research reports and communicate effectively with clients
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
  • MBA (Finance) from a reputable institute or CA/CPA is essential
  • Progress towards CFA (US) is preferred
  • Prior experience of minimum 2 years in equity research, any sector
  • Experience in tracking the Consumer sector is preferred but not mandatory
