Job Description

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Linux and software-defined networking.
  • Proficiency in configuration management tools like Ansible and Chef.
  • Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts.
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Cloud-Native ecosystem and tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Envoy.
  • Knowledge of containers and container orchestrators like Nomad, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code management using Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Primary cloud provider knowledge, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.
  • Observability understanding and collaboration skills with dev teams.
  • Distributed systems principles knowledge.
  • SQL and NoSQL databases knowledge and management skills.
  • Basic cloud security familiarity.
