The Regional Alliance Manager role at Veeam Software involves driving sales, product integrations, and relationships globally with our Resell Alliance Partners. This position requires an understanding of how to work with alliances, field sales, and collaborate with marketing and business unit organizations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Resell Business Strategy: Executive relationships, sales forecast, pipeline management, and marketing plans to achieve revenue goals
  • Manage Alliance Seller Relationships: Versed in Veeam products, identifies opportunities, engages Veeam
  • Identify Joint Initiatives: Opportunities for customers and partners
  • Program Development and Optimization: Setting objectives, deliverables, metrics, milestones, and reporting progress
  • Operational Process Execution: Quotes, order processing, reporting
  • Leveraging Alliance Partners: Plan for mindshare and revenue
  • Central Point of Contact: Manage contracts, gather results, share best practices, and improve the program
  • Clear Communication: Program objectives, opportunities, and results
  • Product Showcase: Identify opportunities to use and showcase Veeam's products
  • Liaison Role: Between alliance and Veeam field organization
  • Veeam Value Proposition: Understand and communicate value proposition as it relates to the alliance and product offerings
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Regional marketing and sales teams for planning and delivery of programs
  • Relationship Building: Enhance Veeam business with alliance teams
  • Marketing Opportunities: Discover, evaluate, and recommend investment in opportunities offered by alliance or partners
  • Campaign Management: Multiple campaigns from conception through evaluation
  • Travel Requirements: 0 - 75% within the assigned territory/region requirements
  • Mind Share Focus: Increase mind share within the alliance ecosystem
  • Pipeline Growth: Drive the pipeline with technology pillars in the alliance ecosystem

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strategic Business Development Experience: Partner motions specifically with HPE of $10m+
  • Program Creation: Multiple audiences including sales teams
  • Management Abilities: Direct and indirect resources
  • Global Alliance Experience: Channel sales and partner business development is desired
  • Communication Skills: Verbal and written
  • Leadership Relationships: Experience managing leadership relationships
  • Bachelor's Degree: Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Virtualization Technology: Knowledge of virtualization technology and leverage within a 2-tier distribution model
