Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sushi Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Grand Hyatt Mumbai. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of quality and service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the assigned station or section of the outlet kitchen, preparing consistent, high-quality products, and ensuring courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service that supports the outlet's operating concept and Hyatt International standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation of the department
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Contribute to menu development, recipe maintenance, and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as Chef De Partie or 3-4 years as Demi Chef De Partie/Commis in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards
  • Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management an advantage
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards essential
  • Basic computer skills in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance System preferred
