Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Payroll Administrator to join our team at Equiniti. This is an exciting opportunity for a detailed-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to work in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide exceptional service to customers, meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives and support the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Perform various pension payroll activities, including periodic bulk processing, lump sum and supplemental payments, UK, Irish, and Isle of Man tax reporting, basic parameter generation, and monitoring of monthly PAYE tax due for clients.
  • Liaise with third parties to provide necessary information and maintain accurate data, files, and department records.
  • Identify potential issues with transactions, reports, and systems, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process routine and non-routine documentation within defined procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining ISO standards by adhering to our Quality Management System.
  • Carry out projects and ad-hoc tasks as determined by the team leader.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of a payroll or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with UK RTI Tax reporting and desirable but not essential Irish and IOM Tax reporting.
  • Extremely attention to detail, self-disciplined, and meticulous in following documented instructions.
  • Data entry skills and experience using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for responding to queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good interpersonal skills within a team.
  • Maintaining accurate data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with regards to managing your own workload, aware of team workloads, and readily available to assist colleagues.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including comprehensive medical assurance coverage for dependents and parents, accidental and life cover three times concerned CTC, cab transport for staff working in the UK and US shift, business-related certification expense reimbursement, 3 days of additional leave above statutory requirements, and 2 days of voluntary leave to pursue CSR initiatives.
