We are seeking a highly skilled Subsurface Data Management Specialist to join our team at Riverforest Connections Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OSDU architecture and its implementation with different Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage the overall structure and organization of an organization's data assets.
  • Ensure data is stored, accessed, and used efficiently and securely, aligning data architecture with business goals and requirements.
  • Develop and execute OSDU data management strategies and roadmaps for our oil and gas clients, aligning with their business needs and industry standards.
  • Provide expert guidance to oil and gas clients in data management best practices, OSDU data platform utilization, and Upstream processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience with industry data standards, such as PPDM, Energetics, OSDU, and IOGP.
  • Strong understanding of OSDU architecture and its implementation with different CSPs.
  • Familiarity with one or more Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or IBM.
  • Exceptional knowledge of data governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and advanced data security strategies.

Skills:

  • Data modeling proficiency in creating complex data models and optimizing data structures for performance and scalability.
  • Experience in OSDU data structure and mapping.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based storage management and data storage solutions.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, such as JIRA, ServiceNow, and Ticketing systems.
