About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to lead our sales team in promoting and selling Gas genset / diesel generator sets to clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives, collaborating with senior management to align sales efforts with the overall business goals.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, including setting targets, providing coaching and training, and conducting performance evaluations to foster a motivated and results-oriented sales team.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, dealers, distributors, and other stakeholders, understanding their needs and addressing concerns to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and emerging market trends, utilizing this information to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the company's customer base and market share.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of the company's diesel genset products.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets, monitoring sales performance against targets and taking corrective actions as needed to ensure objectives are met.
  • Negotiation and Closing Deals: Lead negotiations with clients, dealers, and partners to reach favorable agreements, ensuring timely and successful closure of sales deals.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's diesel genset products, features, and technical specifications, staying updated on industry trends and advancements.
  • Reporting: Generate regular sales reports and performance metrics for management review, providing insights and recommendations based on the analysis of sales data.
  • Travel: Engage in regular travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and visit dealers and distributors to strengthen relationships and monitor market trends.
