Job Overview

The Assistant Engineering Manager is a pivotal role that entails meticulous planning and execution of certification and compliance activities. This involves collaborating with various regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and teams to ensure seamless operations.

This position requires an in-depth understanding of products, test requirements, and the ability to generate requirement proposals. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain an in-depth understanding of products, test requirements, and generate requirement proposals.
  • Analyze tender documents, scheme documents, compliance standards, and drone rules to generate test requirements proposals.
  • Ensure correct TC documentation, tests executions, TC audits, and cooperation with certification bodies (CB) for expeditious releases of SoCs.
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders like CB/ATE, DGCA, and QCI to understand product environment and compliances.
  • Plan and execute periodic internal audits to identify and analyze compliance risks and implement mitigation measures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in technical compliances, with at least 5 years in the UAS industry.
  • Exceptional understanding and hands-on experience working with regulatory frameworks – National/International.
  • Proven experience with product testing, process analysis, and certification activities.
