SAP FICO Consultant Job Description

Overture Rede Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Financials, with a focus on FICO Controlling, General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Overhead assessment and settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials, with a focus on FICO Controlling, General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Overhead assessment and settlement.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions, identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements, and facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
  • Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives, and develop necessary product modifications to satisfy client needs.
  • Design, customize, configure, and test FI/CO modules.
  • Identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions.
  • Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting, investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
  • Experience in the utility industry is an asset.
  • Document functional designs, test cases, and results.
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects, act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
  • Work self-directed and independently, may act as a subject matter mentor to more junior members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years of SAP experience supporting General Ledger, plus 3 or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Intercompany Accounting.
  • Experience in S/4HANA is mandatory, experience with S/4HANA with version 1909 or more is mandatory.
  • Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, HR, PP, and PM.

Desired Skills and Experience:
