Job Overview

Avaloq Developer Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Developer to fill a key role in our organization.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using the Avaloq Banking System.
  • Demonstrate ability to work with sense of urgency under multiple deadlines and organize tasks for minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • University degree in computer science or banking or equivalent working experience is required.
  • 7-10 years of relevant working experience in technology space is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of working experience in Core Banking Platform/Wealth Management domain is essential.
  • Well-versed in Accumulator/Deccumulator (AQDQ) products in Avaloq and its lifecycle.
  • Significant experience working on Avaloq IDE ICE mainly on changes surrounding AQDQ products (STEX, ASSET,SECEVT2 business types).
  • Implementation experience with Avaloq Banking Suite and ACP functional knowledge/experience is mandatory.
  • Basic financial understanding in FX/MM/Equity/Derivatives and associated front to back operational workflows.
  • Experienced in Wealth Management business/Order Management system/Execution Management System.

Preferred Skills:

  • Completed Avaloq Certification training would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of market data and financial models will be beneficial.
  • Practical understanding of Interfaces with Bloomberg/FIX protocol.
  • Technical competencies of programming languages like Java, Javascript, PL/SQL, Python, ReactJS, Angular, NodeJS, Git.
  • Working knowledge of Assentis & Omgeo platforms.
  • Experience in working with agile methodologies.
