We are seeking a skilled Cargo Sales Executive to join our team in Mumbai, India.
Estimated Salary: ₹600,000 - ₹800,000 per annum
Cargo Sales Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating maximum cargo revenue by visiting cargo agents, telesales, and promotional activities. They will also assist customers/clients with information related to booking/forwarding/delivery, liaising with local Ground Handling Agents and Head Office Cargo department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed annual set revenue/tonnage targets through cargo sales.
- Liaise with customers/clients to provide satisfactory service, ensuring timely delivery of shipments.
- Distribute QR promotional items to inform agents/freight forwarders about QR products/services.
- Maintain coordination between QR Space Control and customers to ensure smooth shipment handling.
- Prepare monthly marketing reports on sales achievements at stations.
- Coordinate with customers/cargo claims supervisor at Head Office and handle discrepancies/administrative issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of cargo marketing, basic rating, and dangerous goods regulations.
- Good command of English language (spoken and written).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Understanding of IATA/TACT Regulations and its impact on sales.
