Job Description

AccorHotel seeks a highly qualified Culinary Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading a team of kitchen personnel in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train kitchen personnel to ensure they meet the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with the Executive Steward to maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and promotions.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of food prepared, adhering to AccorHotel's high standards.
  • Prevent contamination and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen personnel to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure the highest quality ingredients are sourced.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff adhere to AccorHotel's health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages (an advantage).
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills.
  • Good communication and customer contact skills.
  • Service-oriented with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
  • Team player and builder.
  • Motivator and self-starter.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
