Job Description: Operational Risk ManagerWe are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to fill the role of Operational Risk Manager for our Credit Operations team. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a critical role in managing and mitigating operational risks within the Credit function.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify operational risks across credit processes, including loan origination, underwriting, disbursement, and collections.
- Develop and implement robust control measures to mitigate identified risks, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that various RBI guidelines are implemented and adhered to.
- Investigate risk incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Track and report key operational risk indicators (KRIs) to provide early warnings of potential risks.
- Conduct regular audits of credit operations to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Prepare detailed risk assessment reports for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Credit, Risk, Compliance, and Technology, to implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct training sessions for credit team members to promote risk awareness and adherence to risk management practices.
- CA/MBA with 5-10 years of relevant experience in Operational Risk Management.
- Proven track record of assessing and managing operational risks across business processes.
- Experience in creating and maintaining Risk Registers, conducting periodic Risk Control testing, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
