Apart from our presence in Dubai, we have expanded our container services to countries such as America, Canada, China, Russia, Europe, and India by connecting major seaports to deliver cargo to far-reaching destinations. As a responsible container solution expert, Supertainer Containers provides streamlined operations for exporters, importers, logistics suppliers, and individuals, customizing their requirements for containers.
We offer container trading as well as container leasing services. Our one-way leasing option is ideal for specific drop-off cargo operations.
The successful Business Development Specialist for the USA and Canada market will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities, engage potential clients, and foster strong relationships to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound telemarketing calls to establish communication with potential customers in the USA and Canada market, initiate engaging conversations, and identify customer needs to effectively position our products and services.
Develop and execute strategic plans to target and acquire new business opportunities in the assigned market, including prospecting, lead generation, and qualifying potential clients.
Bid farewell to sloganeering, instead focus on Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
Negotiate rates and terms with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with the company's policies and profitability targets.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify potential opportunities and challenges in the USA and Canada market.
Regularly analyze sales data, performance metrics, and KPIs to assess progress towards sales targets and implement necessary adjustments to achieve objectives.
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to share market insights, customer feedback, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
Represent Supertainer Containers at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand the company's network and foster potential partnerships.
Enhance product knowledge and stay abreast of advancements in the container trading industry to position yourself as an expert and provide valuable insights to customers.
You will need:
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the shipping or shipping container trading industry for at least 1 year.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of the USA and Canada market and its specific business landscape is a plus.
