About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist and GenAI Consultant to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our BTP Delivery@Scale team, you will play a crucial role in building or augmenting applications leveraging AI/ML to support our customers' business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide customers and drive discussions to build AI/ML scenarios and finalize expected business outcomes.
  • Support our cloud customer base to improve their business processes using AI/ML.
  • Work in a rapid prototype and agile development environment.
  • Develop and deploy ML models in production to serve multiple enterprise customers.
  • Contribute to end-to-end AI/ML projects, including building models and algorithms.
  • Implement machine learning-based intelligent software within a given software architecture in accordance with SAP processes and maintenance strategies.
  • Drive generative AI topics and initiatives leveraging the SAP AI ecosystem.
  • Develop and contribute to generative AI applications for various use cases.
  • Work closely with other data scientists and teams to enable transformation journeys with customers.
Requirements
  • 3-10 years of experience in AI/ML and data science.
  • Strong practical knowledge of NLP technology usage in business contexts.
  • Experience in developing and productizing scalable AI solutions.
  • Good understanding of generative AI concepts.
  • Experience with generative AI technology platforms and frameworks, such as Open Source and 3rd party platforms.
  • Good experience in prompt engineering.
  • Proficiency in generative AI frameworks, such as Langchain and LlamaIndex.
  • Hands-on experience with vector databases and advanced RAG.
  • Strong inclination to learn and experiment with new concepts and technologies in the generative AI space.
  • Strong data exploration, cleansing, transformation, and feature engineering skills.
  • Strong SQL knowledge.
  • Strong focus on delivering business value to customers.
  • Familiarity with code management tools, such as Git and GitHub.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and cloud-native technologies, such as Docker and K8S.
  • Communication skills with the ability to communicate appropriately with customers in various situations.
  • Ability to bring forth new ideas and drive them to execution.
  • B.Tech./M.Tech. in Computer Science or Master's in Data Analytics/Data Science.
