Job Title: Program Implementation Manager

Arthan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Implementation Manager to lead the implementation of our programs in government schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the program implementation portfolio, overseeing the program implementation team, and ensuring that our programs are driven towards their best outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement program strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage the program implementation team, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, community leaders, and donors to ensure effective program implementation and outcomes.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring effective utilization of resources to achieve program goals.
  • Lead the development of program reports, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Represent Arthan's programs and interests with government stakeholders, community leaders, and donors.
  • Identify and solve challenges faced by the team in their day-to-day operations.
  • Act as a key contact point between Arthan and its various stakeholders in the education department, administration, and community.
  • Coordinate between government stakeholders, community leaders, and donors to ensure effective program implementation.
  • Build and maintain excellent relations with government teachers, HMs, cluster, block, and district-level officers, and all other key stakeholders in the districts where Arthan's programs are being implemented.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with all staff and prepare weekly/monthly reports to monitor the health of program implementation.
  • Resolve any pertinent issues arising in the field through proper coordination between Arthan's management and all external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of government school context or Government Administration in Education.
  • Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options with education department officials for program plan approvals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Kannada.
  • Proven ability to manage field programs that are spread across various locations.
  • Ability to make a pitch about the programs to donors, facilitate their field visits to explain Arthan's programs, and nudge discussions toward fruitful outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience working with both state-level and district-level administration in the education department to implement systemic solutions.
  • Ability to lead the team by example.
Travel:

This is a field position and will require significant travel requirements.
