Location:
TMB has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, London, and Gurgaon. This role will be based out of our Gurgaon office, with flexible working arrangements to accommodate both office and remote work.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Creative Director to join our India DesignWorks team. As a collaborative leader, you'll oversee motion designers, graphic designers, and photo researchers to develop high-quality visual content for our digital, video, and print products. Reporting to the VP/Creative, you'll apply your design expertise and leadership skills to ensure the team's creative processes meet the demands of our brands and business.
About You:
A dedicated manager with a passion for design excellence, you'll foster a culture that prioritizes creativity, efficiency, and open communication. As a leader by example, you'll motivate your team through your calm, collaborative nature and fiscally sound creativity. You'll encourage an environment where ideas are shared freely, and support and mentoring are valued. With a deep understanding of brand positioning and voice, you'll bring our brand's visual identity to life through your work and team's visual design. You'll be comfortable delegating tasks and spotting opportunities to optimize resources, ensuring the team's success and the business's growth.
Your Day-to-Day:

  • Manage art directors and designers to create visual assets for our digital, video, and print products
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for cross-brand support and resource optimization
  • Provide ongoing feedback to ensure work meets product and brand standards; mentor team members to build skills and autonomy
  • Participate in the TMB Design Leadership Group to elevate overall design thinking within the company
  • Contribute to product innovation and bring new ideas to the table to expand our brand offerings
You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design
  • 10+ years of design experience, preferably in digital or video graphic design, with some experience in print
  • At least five years' experience managing a high-performance team
  • Demonstrated success in building positive relationships with design, editorial, and production team members to deliver creative products
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to partner with business unit leaders to enhance brand opportunities
  • Network of freelance designers, illustrators, and creative talent to tap into assignments
  • Organized, thorough, and deadline-oriented approach to working with an ability to recognize when a content product or experience is ready to move forward
  • 'We' not 'me' leadership style that encourages open sharing of ideas and strategies
  • Experience with content production tools like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
  • Experience working with AI tools like ChatGPT, MidJourney, and Firefly features within Adobe Creative Suite
