- Data Warehousing & ETL:
- Lead the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes using tools such as SSIS to facilitate data transformation and loading.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Business Intelligence Solutions:
- Design and develop BI solutions, including reports and dashboards, using tools like Power BI or SSRS.
- Analyze complex data sets to derive insights and support decision-making processes.
- Stay current with industry trends and tools to enhance BI capabilities.
- Team Leadership & Communication:
- Manage and mentor junior database developers and analysts, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Present technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in database applications, DW, ETL, and BI.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SQL Server (development, support, and delivery).
- Proficient in SQL and T-SQL programming.
- Experience with ETL tools, preferably SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and projects effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of cloud databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS).
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
