Job Title

This is a unique opportunity to work in a management role, overseeing legal aspects of the business.

  • Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.
  • Timely renewal and proper execution of all contracts are also critical.
  • A comprehensive repository of contracts must be maintained, with regular monitoring for compliance.
  • Ongoing litigations, arbitrations and disputes require prompt handling.
  • Collaboration with external lawyers and provision of necessary documentation are essential.
  • Timely filing of replies, rejoinders and affidavits is crucial.
  • Adherence to applicable laws, regulations and statutory requirements is vital.
  • Regular updates on changes in the legal and regulatory framework must be provided to management.
  • Compliance audits at sites/offices should be conducted regularly.
  • Providing legal advice to management and business teams on projects, transactions and operations is key.
  • Identifying potential legal risks and recommending mitigation measures is critical.
  • Support during due diligence of properties, projects and partnerships is essential.
  • Maintaining proper records of court cases, notices, contracts and compliance documents is vital.
  • Digitizing and updating the legal database for quick access is essential.
  • Liaising with government bodies, regulatory authorities and law firms as required is critical.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams in legal-related matters is essential.

Key Competencies Required:

  • Strong knowledge of Corporate, Civil, Real Estate and Contract Law.
  • Good drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Attention to detail & confidentiality.
