Manufacturing Operations Specialist

Job Summary
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with sales, operations, proposals, and supply chain departments to manage inventory levels and resolve order-related issues. With hands-on experience in ERP systems like Oracle/SAP, you will have a strong understanding of material master and production planning modules.
Responsibilities
- Maintain order backlog and forecast data for cabinets to be built over the financial year.
- Plan for plant capacity utilization in sequence with workload.
- Understand backward and forward scheduling concepts.
- Provide clear directions to the team for raw material planning and capacity build for in-house production and at suppliers.
- Prioritize tasks based on committed shipment plans and material availability dates.
- Prepare monthly manufacturing and shipment plans based on readiness and customer requirements.
- Develop day-wise production plans and track readiness as committed.
- Update and maintain records in Genesyss based on project schedule for further planning.
- Ensure accurate transactions in the system and right cost of inventory.
- Apply statistical tools and problem-solving methodologies to resolve issues.
- Provide performance reports to management on production operations.
- Maintain and update KPI data.
- Develop new processes and optimize current processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Continuously review key process indicators for potential improvements.
- Awareness and adherence to integrated management system and ISO processes.
- Track sales status against committed POR.
Dimension & Scope
Internal Customers: All iCenter Nasik employees, including EEEC II, and all employees in WWSC, PSG.
External Customers: PSG MEA/SEA, EPM India (internal customers iCenter Nasik), International end users of PSG products, suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
- Minimum four to five years' experience in manufacturing and process automation.
- Able to plan and supervise assembly.
- Strong desire to learn, good communication skills, and team player.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to coordinate multiple efforts within the company to achieve objectives.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
