Job Description
Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd is seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing R&D projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope.
About the Role
- You will effectively monitor and present project updates to clients and project team members.
- Your responsibilities will include Project & Team Management per plan and requirements, Project Estimation and execution, QA compliance and documentation of related projects, analyzing field failure and providing solutions to the client, vendor development and procurement, proposal creation for Indian customers, managing the design, planning, implementation and evaluation of R&D projects, knowledge on hardware design performance verification, working experience on motor controller inverter design for BLDC, PMSM, requirement analysis, concept design and technical proposal, design calculation, MOSFET - gate driver and circuits, power loss calculation, integration testing and performance verification, work experience with microcontroller, knowledge on hardware design performance verification, DFMEA and 8D, creation of production support documents and bookshelf design, and interfacing the hardware and software documents.
- Additionally, you will have at least 10 years of exposure/experience to/with development of electronics hardware horizontals.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- You should have strong interpersonal skills, good technical knowledge of automotive products, leadership skills, communication and influencing, understanding regulatory and legal requirements pertaining to area of specialization, customer focus, and decision making.
- Automotive industry business acumen is also desirable.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of ₹1,200,000 - ₹2,000,000 per annum, depending on experience.
