About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Software Development Manager to lead our development team at Gap Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a minimum of 7 years of experience and 2 years of experience as a Technical Lead.

The responsibilities of this role include designing and developing applications with an eye towards simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance, and reusability. Additionally, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with technical and business team members to design, develop, and maintain business solutions following Agile development principles and practices.

Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong hands-on development experience on Java/J2EE technologies, including Spring (MVC) framework, and good practical understanding of Java/J2EE Design patterns. You should also have a thorough understanding of Object Oriented analysis and design principles, as well as working knowledge of SOAP APIs, RESTful APIs, and Azure cloud platform. Additionally, experience with Continuous integration tools like Jenkins/Chef and Code Quality tools/frameworks like Sonar is essential.

Technical Requirements
Some of the key technical requirements for this role include:
• Strong hands-on development experience on Java/J2EE technologies
• Total professional experience of 7 to 10 years in Software Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as Technical Lead
• Thorough understanding of Object Oriented analysis and design principles
• Hands-on Experience in application/Product Development and Spring (MVC) framework
• Good Practical understanding of Java/J2EE Design patterns
• Strong Working knowledge of SOAP APIs
• Strong Working knowledge of RESTful APIs
• Good knowledge of Azure cloud platform
• Strong Working knowledge of any one UI framework Angular/React js
• Strong working knowledge of SQL databases - MSSQLServer
• Strong working knowledge of SQL , PLSQL and SQL Performance Tuning
• Strong working knowledge of a messaging technology such as MQ or Kafka
• Strong working knowledge of Continuous integration tools like Jenkins/Chef
• Strong working knowledge of Code Quality tools/frameworks like Sonar
• Strong knowledge of Automated Testing. Unit Testing, Integration Testing & Contract Testing.

Salary Range:
This position comes with a competitive salary range of $180,000-$220,000 per annum, based on your level of experience and qualifications.
