About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Power and Water Solutions team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for overall project execution, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage techno-commercial aspects of project execution.
  • Act as the main focal point for techno-commercial matters with EPC/end-users.
  • Manage change orders and identify/mitigate risks.
  • Ensure project progress reporting and conduct factory acceptance tests.
  • Lead project close-out activities, including site support.
  • Manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Emerson's ethics and HSE policies.
  • Prepare resource loading charts and balance resources efficiently.
  • Work with the Engineering Management team to source skilled resources.
  • Provide project pursuit support to the sales team.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of project execution cycles.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions/options.
  • Effectively interact with diverse groups of people at various organizational levels.
  • Apply logical approaches to work environments.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in MS-Office tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong interactive skills.

About You:

As a seasoned professional, you will bring a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to tackle challenging issues with confidence and optimism. You will be an effective communicator, able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree and PMP certification (added advantage).
  • Understanding of the project life cycle from concept to commissioning.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to self-manage workload and implement multiple concurrent projects.
  • Effective interaction with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of years of relevant work experience in process control and automation.
  • DCS/SIS design experience in the engineering industry (desired).
  • Experience working on Power Plant, Captive Power Plant DCS/SIS projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of at least one Distributed Control System.
  • Ability to handle differing priorities and demonstrate resilience and strong influencing skills.
