Marketing Strategist for Product Launches

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Marketing Strategist to help us deliver our value proposition to the right audiences through go-to-market strategies, product-market fit, and positioning in a competitive landscape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying target markets, defining product features' value propositions, and creating promotional 360 campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to drive product awareness across all marketing channels, gaining a deep understanding of customer pain points, motivations, and behaviors.
- Develop compelling product positioning and messaging frameworks based on user insights, competitive analysis, and product differentiation that resonate with target audiences.
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches and feature releases, partnering closely with Brand/communications, Media, Influencers, products, and Design to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Product team and Marketing leadership to drive and prioritize the product roadmap based on PMF, growth potential, and ICE.
- Define ideal Marketing support levels for each product and establish criteria for each tier of support.
- Support Lifecycle Marketing teams on channels definitions and implementing the best strategy.
- Lead Product-themed Landing pages for state-of-the-art messaging and optimal SEO, working closely with creative teams to manage execution end-to-end.
- Define and refine target customer segments, including students, professionals, non-native English speakers, and more, tailoring marketing strategies to different segments to maximize engagement and adoption.
- A proven track record of creating and executing GTM plans for product launches.
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field.
- At least 8+ years of experience in a marketing role, with at least 3 years in Product Marketing.
- Subject matter expertise in our product and industry.
- Experience with B2C product and industry is mandatory; additional experience with B2B is preferred.
- The ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
- Experience as a Team manager, preferably with geographically dispersed team management.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve individual and departmental goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Set performance metrics and conduct regular reviews to ensure high productivity and quality standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Very good project management and organizational skills.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and the complexity of the role.
