Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Strategist to help us deliver our value proposition to the right audiences through go-to-market strategies, product-market fit, and positioning in a competitive landscape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying target markets, defining product features' value propositions, and creating promotional 360 campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to drive product awareness across all marketing channels, gaining a deep understanding of customer pain points, motivations, and behaviors.
  2. Develop compelling product positioning and messaging frameworks based on user insights, competitive analysis, and product differentiation that resonate with target audiences.
  3. Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product launches and feature releases, partnering closely with Brand/communications, Media, Influencers, products, and Design to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  4. Collaborate with the Product team and Marketing leadership to drive and prioritize the product roadmap based on PMF, growth potential, and ICE.
  5. Define ideal Marketing support levels for each product and establish criteria for each tier of support.
  6. Support Lifecycle Marketing teams on channels definitions and implementing the best strategy.
  7. Lead Product-themed Landing pages for state-of-the-art messaging and optimal SEO, working closely with creative teams to manage execution end-to-end.
  8. Define and refine target customer segments, including students, professionals, non-native English speakers, and more, tailoring marketing strategies to different segments to maximize engagement and adoption.
Ideal Candidate:
  1. A proven track record of creating and executing GTM plans for product launches.
  2. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field.
  3. At least 8+ years of experience in a marketing role, with at least 3 years in Product Marketing.
  4. Subject matter expertise in our product and industry.
  5. Experience with B2C product and industry is mandatory; additional experience with B2B is preferred.
  6. The ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
  7. Experience as a Team manager, preferably with geographically dispersed team management.
  8. Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve individual and departmental goals.
  9. Performance Monitoring: Set performance metrics and conduct regular reviews to ensure high productivity and quality standards.
  10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  11. Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  12. Very good project management and organizational skills.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and the complexity of the role.
