Job Title: Data Analyst with a Focus on Energy Forecasting

We are seeking a skilled data analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of our forecasting platform. The ideal candidate will have experience working with time-series data, statistical models, and machine learning algorithms.

The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable forecasting algorithms using statistical and machine learning methods. They will also work closely with engineers and SREs to enhance core algorithms, improve scalability, and deliver new services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models for time-series forecasting.

  • Mentor junior team members and educate the team on core scientific concepts in forecasting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a data science role with a focus on time-series forecasting.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience navigating and contributing to production codebases.
  • Deep understanding of statistical and machine learning methods for time-series forecasting.
  • Experience with the Python data science stack (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn).
