Early Stage Investing Professional

This role offers hands-on experience in early-stage investing, startup evaluation, portfolio company management, and ecosystem engagement.

  • Conduct market size analysis, evaluate products/services including technology moats, assess teams, business models, and financials. Prepare detailed investment notes on potential opportunities.
  • Support the investment team in commercial due diligence, financial due diligence, and legal due diligence. Coordinate with professional firms to oversee their diligence findings.
  • Sources opportunities from founder networks, investment bankers, and startup ecosystems. Screen startups, review pitch decks, and conduct preliminary assessments based on deal evaluation metrics.
  • Engage with portfolio companies and assist in preparing updates on the companies. Assist founders with research and go-to-market strategies.
  • Attend startup events, demo days, and network with founders, accelerators, and fellow investors.
  • Prepare compliance documentation and internal records.
  • Present to Limited Partners and investor updates.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess market trends and business models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related fields preferred.
  • Prior experience in startups, consulting, investment banking, or finance is a plus.
