Key Responsibilities

  • Closely work with Customers on their requirements and convert into solutions
  • Design end-to-end solution architecture and guide development teams in complex requirements
  • Actively participate in knowledge augmentation initiatives
  • Should be actively responsive to customers and mitigate issues such as product feature deficiencies and other objections
  • Help on Install Tableau Software Plan and execute patches, minor and major release upgrades for Tableau Products
  • Create/manage Tableau Projects/Tableau metadata in various environments to facilitate development and testing.Maintain Project and object level security consistent with project requirements in consultation with senior administrator, architects and project teams
  • Implement Change management processes to migrate Tableau projects and objects between QA,UAT and Production environments
  • Manage Cube builds, refreshes and monitoring
  • Work closely with report domains architects and suggest configuration and process changes to improve the reliability ,scalability and supportability of Tableau environment
  • Maintain Scripts and documentation related to Product suite
  • Maintain Data recovery and Backup

Qualifications

We seek in you

  • Extensive Tableau Implementation and Architecting experience including latest version
  • Strong experience in Tableau Development, enhancement and Migration
  • Excellent understanding of tool functions, limitations and hidden features
  • Tableau server installation and configuring/administration, added advantage
  • Experience with creation of users, groups, projects, workbooks and the appropriate permission sets for Tableau server logons and security checks
  • Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices
  • Strong SQL reporting skills with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queries to build custom datasets for reporting or analysis
  • Building up Strong COE Approach
  • Good Financial knowledge and domain is a great plus
  • Migration and Upgrade experience is added advantage
  • Tableau Server Cluster Management and Performance tuning is added advantage
  • Proven track record of performance tuning, handling data issues
  • Sound understanding of using Tableau with multi-dimensional data sources such as OLAP cubes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving attitude
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, with strong ability to quickly learn and comprehend business processes and problems in order to effectively develop technical solutions to their requirements
  • Regulatory reporting exposure
