Job Summary

At Gloify, we are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable software releases. Additionally, you will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and scalability. You will also manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and ensure optimal resource utilization. Furthermore, you will implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. You will ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across the infrastructure. You will automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. You will maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures. You will stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the DevOps processes.

Qualifications

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience :

- Proven experience in a DevOps role, with a strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, and cloud infrastructure.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Skills :

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.

- Knowledge of network protocols, security, and performance optimization.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing.

- Knowledge of database management and optimization.

- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.

- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
