Job Description:

The Production Coordinator Specialist plays a vital role in the success of Purviv Labs by coordinating product development, managing purchase orders, and ensuring efficient workflows throughout the production process. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to managing tasks within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and process purchase orders and send them to factories for production.
  • Manage packaging requests for products, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate the input of purchase orders and proforma invoices into the ERP system for seamless tracking and management.
  • Ensure strike-offs and pre-production samples are sent and reviewed promptly, providing valuable feedback as needed.
  • Oversee that all orders are booked and have undergone final inspections before shipment to guarantee quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Review UPCs and carton markings to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements, maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision.
  • Maintain detailed project records in Asana, accurately logging tasks and updates to ensure transparency and efficiency.
  • Track and manage samples, materials, and production assets throughout the product lifecycle, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with designers, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure product specifications are met, fostering strong relationships and driving innovation.
  • Monitor production schedules and flag any potential delays, taking proactive steps to ensure all deadlines are met and exceeded.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to address any production issues, promoting open dialogue and resolving conflicts efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Design, Supply Chain Management) or equivalent experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in business principles and practices.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in production coordination, product development, or a similar role, preferably in home décor or consumer goods, showcasing expertise and a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, juggling competing demands with ease and precision.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing purchase orders, packaging requests, and invoices, leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems for managing orders and proforma invoices, enabling seamless integration and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with project management tools like Asana and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), enhancing productivity and collaboration across teams.
  • Knowledge of production processes, including sample management, inspections, and logistics, ensuring a deep understanding of the intricacies involved.
  • Strong ability to review technical details such as UPCs and carton markings for accuracy, upholding high standards of quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, prioritizing tasks and managing stress with ease.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience, reflecting the value of this critical role in driving the success of Purviv Labs.
