Key SQL Developer Position

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in SQL programming, preferably in a cloud-based data platform such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • A strong understanding and analysis of data tables to formulate queries and transform and extract data efficiently.
  • The ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to manipulate data for specified objectives, while ensuring high-quality results.
  • Experience in end-to-end technical design, development, stabilization, and enhancement of SQL programs, including skills in creating and updating data model designs and/or stored procedures.
  • Proficiency in working with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to gain comparative insights.
  • Leadership skills to lead and participate in technical and operations reviews with teammates, driving projects from inception to completion.
  • Ability to organize and track progress, maintain documentation using Jira and Confluence, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and implementing SQL solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior developers and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
