We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager - Commission Structure Specialist with 12 years of experience to lead the management of our company's sales commission plans. This role involves reviewing sales deals, calculating commissions, managing commission structures, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments in line with company policies.

The ideal candidate will also play a key role in resolving commission-related issues and supporting audits. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales Deal Review: Lead the review of sales deals and ensure that commissions are calculated according to the company's policy.
  • Commission Calculation & Approval: Oversee and approve the calculation of sales commissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company plans and policies.
  • Commission Plan Management: Develop, implement, and manage multiple commission plans, ensuring transparency and clear communication across the organization.
  • General Ledger Accounting and Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any commission-related issues or discrepancies, working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth processes.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team responsible for commission processing, ensuring timely and accurate execution of tasks.
  • Audit Support: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external audits related to commissions, providing necessary documentation and data as needed.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the finance, HR, and sales teams to ensure the integrity of commission payments and reporting.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance commission processes, identifying areas for improvement in calculation, reporting, and reconciliation.

  • Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex commission structures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments and leadership levels.
  • Experience managing commission programs in large organizations with complex sales structures.
  • Prior experience supporting and managing audit processes.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for sales compensation.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards. However, please note that actual salaries may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and performance.
