Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our organization in the role of Data Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, AWS services such as Lambda and Glue, DBT, and SQL.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for enabling seamless data integration, transformation, and analytics to support business intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and DBT.
  • Data Modeling: Develop and optimize data models in Snowflake for scalability and performance.
  • SQL Query Development: Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all platforms.
  • Pipeline Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring timely delivery of data.
  • Automation and Integration: Automate workflows and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Implement best practices for data security, cost optimization, and performance tuning on AWS and Snowflake.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Snowflake Experience: Proven hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse (data modeling, query optimization, performance tuning).
  • AWS Services Expertise: Strong expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
