Freelance Assistant Community Building

We are building a growing platform that connects Mechanical and Electrical Engineers across the globe.

As a Freelance Assistant, you will play a key role in our community building efforts. You will be responsible for administrative tasks, content preparation, and moderation of existing WhatsApp groups to keep engagement alive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle various administrative and coordination tasks on a daily basis.
  • Prepare engaging content for events, social media, and WhatsApp messages to enhance community interaction.
  • Moderate existing WhatsApp groups to maintain a high level of engagement among community members.
  • Assist with organizing monthly community meetups, including coordinating logistics and communicating with attendees.
  • Maintain simple records and follow-ups, and draft emails as needed.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Show proficiency in English (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with team members and community members.
  • Believe in community building and learning together, with a passion for creating a collaborative environment.
  • Prior experience in administrative or content roles is highly valued but not required.
  • Be based in India and have availability of 5-7 hours per week (flexible hours).
