Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team at Rigel Networks. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our containerized applications and cloud infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to innovative projects that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters to support scalable and reliable applications.

- Utilize Helm for managing Kubernetes applications and streamline deployment processes.

- Oversee AWS services including EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), EMR (Elastic MapReduce), IAM (Identity and Access Management), and S3 (Simple Storage Service) for optimized cloud operations.

- Administer Hadoop clusters, ensuring efficient data processing and resource management.

- Implement and maintain Spark environments for large-scale data processing and analytics.

- Develop and manage Python/Java applications for various operational needs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of projects.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Kubernetes : Expertise in deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Kubernetes.

- Helm : Proficient in using Helm to manage Kubernetes applications and simplify deployments.

- EKS : Experience with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service for container orchestration and management.

- AWS : Knowledge of AWS services including EMR, IAM, and S3 for cloud infrastructure and data management.

- Hadoop Administration : Experience in managing and tuning Hadoop clusters for optimal performance.

- Spark : Proficiency in deploying and managing Spark applications for big data processing.

- Programming : Strong skills in Python and Java for application development and automation.

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms or container orchestration tools.
