About the Role

As a Distribution Sales Manager for Ingersoll Rand, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth in South India, encompassing Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, and Sri Lanka. Your primary objective will be to achieve significant revenue milestones through effective distributor partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive profitable sales growth through distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with distributors to enhance business relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, providing actionable insights to inform sales decisions.
  • Promote product expertise among distributors and customers, ensuring seamless sales execution.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Order Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Product Management teams.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in technical products.
  • In-depth knowledge of Positive Displacement Pumps technology, particularly Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps.
  • Fluency in English and regional languages, with an additional language being a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (70% of working time) and adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and self-motivation skills to excel in a dynamic environment.
Estimated Salary Range

Rupees 18-22 lakhs per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
