About the Role
You'll be part of the Architecture Engineering team at 860 GapTech India, driving innovation and modernization in cloud computing. This critical Individual Contributor role will help shape the company's cloud strategy, promoting flexibility, reuse, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions using Kubernetes, Terraform, Java, Python, Docker, and PowerShell.
- Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain Java and Python applications in the cloud.
- Build and deploy Docker containers to the cloud.
- Script and automate tasks using PowerShell.
- Manage Azure, OCI, and GCP cloud platforms.
- Work with stakeholders to understand and prioritize requirements.
- Design and implement security controls to protect cloud-based systems.
- Monitor cloud-based systems and applications to ensure performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
- Stay up to date on the latest cloud technologies and trends.
- Mentor and train junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud computing.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and PowerShell.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and other programming languages.
- Experience with cloud-based monitoring and logging tools.
- Proficient and expert with Configuration management tools, and in developing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
- Experience with cloud migration projects.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in scaling infrastructure to support high-throughput data-intensive applications.
- Experience working on projects following an Agile or similar process.
- Minimum education and experience required: bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field.
