Manufacturing Team Member

Role Overview

This role is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic manufacturing team, where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of plant instrumentation and contributing to the production of high-quality glass products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Maintain and manage plant instrumentation spares, including ordering and stocking of replacement parts as needed.
  • Continuously monitor the plant environment for any unsafe conditions and take corrective action to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Commission new instrumentation projects, ensuring that all equipment is properly installed and functioning correctly.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and purchasing teams to source high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
  • Predictive Maintenance: identify potential issues before they become major problems, reducing downtime and improving overall efficiency.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
  3. Strong understanding of plant instrumentation and control systems.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
